• We have a part-time work rule where the ee will work this schedule Tue-Thurs 8-4:30, and Fri 8-12

Can you please explain Fri 8- 12 for all the employees or only for part time workers.

Scenario - 1

Work schedule Tue - Thurs 8 - 4:30, and Fri 8-12  for all the employees of your organisation who belongs to same grouping then you can go for one Work schedule rule it can be used to all employees who are in same group.

Scenario - 2

Work schedule Tue - Thurs 8 -4:30, and Fri 8 - 4:30 for all the employees (Ex Regular employees Planned work schedule).

Part time workers who comes under regular but they will work on Fri 8 -12, In this case you define one more work schedule rule.

Since for all the employees who belongs to regular category Planned work schedule 8 - 4:30 on Tue, Thurs and Friday, few of the employees belongs to regular category they  will work on         Fri - 8 -12 in this case define one more new work schedule rule as explained veeram.
