We want to view a file of type AI ( Adobe Illustrator) within SAP Visual Enterprise viewer. We downloaded the viewer from market place and is in our local machine. In "Define Workstation application" we created a new application ZAI and assigned the file of type *.ai. Also within "Define Workstation application in network" we have defined under Application (path and program name) we have entered %VIEWER-CONTROL% %SAPPROVIS. We have also copied the SAP front-end service xml file within c:\users\xxxx\Application DAta\SAP. We have created a document and uploaded a file of type .ai into it. When we try to view the file it first gave the following prompt.
The system is trying to execute the program
%VIEWER-CONTROL% %SAPPROVIS with the command line
c:\users\xxx\Desktop\xxx.ai
Attention: The object that will be executed could not be determined!
Do you want to grant permission to execute the program?
Upon confirmation it gives the following error
Windows cannot find %VIEWER-CONTROL% %SAPPROVIS. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Could someone advice what the problem could be and the corrective actions? Much appreciated.
The file type is indeed supported by the viewer and we could open the file in a standalone mode within the viewer.
