BAPI instead of BDC for MM01 to maintain classification view

Hi all,

I need to maintain classification view for 'N' number of materials. I have created BDC program, but it is not working in Mode 'N'.

I need to create or change 'Class Type' & 'Class'.

So i thought of creating with BAPI's. I have gone thro' several threads, but could not guess the solution.

Please share me some sample programs with BAPI's.
