1. What are the steps we require to Install new SAP system from Backup File?
The complete step is called Homogeneous System Copy. Everything is mentioned in the system copy guide.
2. Can we use online backup file?
Yes
3. Do I need to restore backup after installing database or I can choose backup file from SWPM , while installation?
You need to install the database software and the restore should be done when the SWPM prompts or before that.
4. If I use export\Import method , does export of system require downtime ?
Yes. For a consistent target system you need to shutdown the source system.
