I am working in a group of companies and there is a request to change the GL mapping for few wage-types for one particular company. I am new to this particular area of SAP HR, but I am learning. By far what I have understood that WT are mapped to symbolic accounts and they in turn are mapped to GL accounts (via T-code OBYE or some other way). THere is this report RPDKON00 which displays WTs are they are assigned to symbolic accounts which in turn are assigned to GL accounts distributed by company codes.
Hence my conclusions are - We cannot assign a different GL for a WT just for one company. I mean for a particular WT-symbolic account combination, the GL will be same for all the companies in the country.
Can someone help me out here? Is my conclusion correct? or is there anyway to change the GL for a particular company and thus keep it different from other companies in the country for same symbolic account-WT combination?
Any clarity & guidance will be appreciated.
